Dell Inspiron 6000

2 years old, runs perfect. The only issues I have with the computer is the computer does not hold a charge so you must stay plugged into a wall. Sold with two power adapters.
The cover on the outside of the computer does show signs of use.

Keli, I don't want to buy your old computer, sorry. But I have a question. You say you were happy with it. Are you replacing it with another Dell? I ask because I am looking at purchasing a new laptop for myself.

I have a Dell desk computer at the office and it drives me crazy but have had others recommend the Dell laptop.

Anyone have any comments on HP? Or other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

SS - I've played with them all, and settled on a Gateway a few months ago. You'll prob get about as many opinions on which is best as we see when someone asks the question - who is the best dive operator or what is the beach bar. wink HP's, IMNSHO, are not what they used to be since the Compaq merger.

Keli - Why not simply buy a new battery pack, if holding a charge is your only issue? How long does it take to run down? Perhaps your power mgmt settings need reviewed.

Klc, thanks but I of course have thought of that option! I sure could buy a new battery pack but I didn't mention that was what was holding me back. I was disclosing it was the only thing wrong with the computer. I'm upgrading and I always buy a new computer every two years. Thanks though.

That's awesome! Good for you. You did well...
It's a shame there's no best buy for people here in Belize!

Unfortunately there are no computers at Best Buy for $350 US right now! I'm in the states 2 weeks and the best deal I see is around $500 something but the kicker is by the time you add Microsoft Office, spywear, etc the price is around $800.
