Agree with all the "cool brothers" as well as the R&R, blues & Clarksdale, Ms as I grew up just across the river but the title of the post is "WHITE GUYS" and many named while great are far from "white".

Reading is an art - no offense meant - I said: "Black Guys Rock too", but I never implied that my pick from The Coolest Bros were all into R n'R. I'll make an exception for Snoop Dogg though, Elbert: He Rocks! I'll make another exception; you'll never see me do this:
Live and let live

Reading is an art, sorry I missed your post. Jimmy Hendrix (not Hedrix) was awesome! As a class of 69 I grew up in the height of Motown. Also growing up in the Mississippi Delta (Elvis country)I know a little about the Blues. Love them all and even remember the start of the Beatles. Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues it's all good. I love most music. It's all good.

I literally grew up around Elvis in Memphis. He went to Humes high school with my parents. He dropped out they didn't. Lauderdale Courts where his parents lived was down the block. We had the same Taekwondo instructor. The sherifs department gave Elvis a Special Deputy Badge so he could legally carry a hand gun and the 'I'm a cop'thing went to his head, sometimes he would stop his Electroglide if there was a traffic jam and start directing traffic.George Klein was a friend. As a result I'm sick of Elvis. Never visited Graceland, but tired of pointing it out to tourist. Jerry Lee was always getting drunk and making an ass of himself. The Peabody Hotel management wouldn't let him play the piano in the lobby because he was a little hard on the keys.
