Hadron Collider

Largest machine on earth Hea lets crank it up and see what happens.
Particle colliders creating black holes that could devour the Earth. Sounds like a great Hollywood script.

ahhh, thanks. i sense some sarcasm in the original posting. i only glanced, but...

its sole purpose is as an experiment? i do not believe the earth will be swallowed (and really don't care, i'm gonna die either way) and while i am a supporter of scientific R&D of all kinds, i can't justify this expense at this moment in time for our planet.

crazy.

Can they wait until I come back from SP? I mean, just in case the earth does implode, I'd at least like to get one last glimpse of the reef while sipping a Rum Punch! wink

I have a theory about Black holes being previous planets thats civilizations reached a point in technology they could build a collider and started monkeying around.
