Stayed at the Conch Shell Inn recently, amazing change but kept the original flavor quote well. Clean newly minted rooms, nice bathroom area, lil fridge, full coffee zone. wider verandah super nice. incredible beds. beyond nice mattresses....

love the lil paisano tile at the bottom of the steps. love the rows of conch shells lining things here and there....

Met some nice folks who were staying there too. Right next to Amigos del mar dive shop downtown. and cholos.

Checked it out myself in July. They did a great job on the reno and rooms are very nice, in a simple way.

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

The best part is that the owner organizes and participates in the "Smile Center", as many times a years as possible. Another good global citizen.

anybody have pics of the reno? Have always stayed at the same place each trip, and am thinking about trying someplace in town this go 'round.

I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?

Didn't know they had one, so obvious or not - thanks for the link! smile
Looks perfect except for the absence of a pool (yes, I'm one of the weirdos who likes a pool and an ocean - greedy, huh? smirk )
anyone else have pics?
