I have received an e-mail from the Belize Tourist Board to let me know about the update to their website which was set up to keep people informed about Hurricane Keith. There are some wonderful, reassuring photographs of San Pedro taken by photographer Tony Rath on Monday 16th October.

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped (and continues to help) in this massive clean up operation.

WOW! Those are great! I am really dyin' here now! 24 days and counting.

Everything is looking great!!! I was sad to see in one picture that the trees were devoid of leaves, but in a later picture was delighted to see a closeup of the new growth on some of the bushes. That one picture says a thousand words........ Mother Nature does a superb job at healing herself. Thanks so much for the pix.
