I'm part of a group that has scheduled a vacation on Ambergris Caye starting Oct. 28. The hotel we are booked into has some power but no air conditioning and we will be the only guests there -- everyone else has cancelled. We're trying to decide whether we should come or reschedule. Any thoughts?

What hotel are you booked with? Did they make any indication that air might be on by the 28th? The temp. has been in the mid to low 70's at nite--so maybe that's not too hot for you to sleep in. What do you mainly plan to do while in AC? If it's water related...I hear that's unchanged and still great as always. As for being the only ones in your hotel---look at it this way---you can make all the noise you want and not disturb anyone, plus get better service!!! We also will be in AC during that period.

I don't think the lack of air conditioning will be a big deal. The sea breeze and overhead fans, work well. Belize IT.
