We're bummed! Capricorn had to cancel our Nov 14th honeymoon reservations in one of their cabanas. Completely understandable, of course ... but we have had visions of relaxing in a hammock on the veranda overlooking the beach for a while.
Is there someplace you guys could recommend that would be similar (private, quiet)?
I've heard that most of the water activities are already going... will most of the restaurants & nightspots be open by then?

Dirk, here is how I would do this, contact Sunbreeze, ask for a deluxe room with jacuzzi, ask them for a refrigerator if it does not have one, ask for bouquet of fresh flowers. Carry with you some beautiful sheets and pillow cases, (satin) carry some beautiful fluffy towels, candles pretty soaps, and oils. Duty free shop at the airport, pickup your favorite wine or etc. Check in, ask them to make up the room with your linens, and let them carry up your luggage, while you go to the grocery store to pick up some smack foods, come back and carry that beautiful Bride over the threshold. You can make it memorable. They usually have room service also.

Thanks Chicke, this old Gal thinks ahead. It will not be the Ritz, but it will suffice. Fail to mention the Massage Palor at Sunbreeze, if needed. (smiling) Gramma Bomb, signing off.

Thanks for your suggestions, Chloe, that sounds great. Especially the carrying the happy bride over the threshold part!
Any other reasonably priced places in case Sunbreeze doesn't work out?
Cheers, Dirk

I heard that Ann was on the mainland with Shakina when the hurricane info was being posting...has she returned to the SunBreeze massage parlour?

Dirk, check out Seven Seas Resort. We stayed there in September.Fairly close to town, nice but NOT luxury. However, staff is GREAT,will make sure you have a great time.Walk to town or rent a golf cart as we did. They have a small kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, bedroom and living room. Will have a case of Belikin beer delivered to your room and in the fridge upon arrival if you ask them. They are up and running, have heard from them via e-mail.Dive shop out on pier out front and will arrange tours for you.Great place, just not real plush.Any questions, feel free to e-mail us at mlbws [email protected]. You will have a great trip, no matter where you stay.
