Well, all the school kids are getting ready for a day of marching on the 21st of September. The parade will start on Coconut drive in the vicinity of The Island Academy. It will go north on Coconut Drive then swing onto Angel Coral Street (around the old downtown football field) continuing to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve office, a jog onto Pescador drive, head south to Tarpon, up Barrier Reef Drive and culminate at Central Park.

The parade is set to begin at 2pm. Let's hope for overcast but not wet!

Flags, whistles, music, dancing and cheering are required.

Be there.... if you can't be here in person be here in spirit. We'll try and post pix quickly.

Thanks for posting this Marty. I truly enjoyed it. All the people seemed so engaged and excited. Wish I had been there in person.

It's great to be .....
