A GROUP OF US ARE ARRIVING ON THE CARNIVAL LEGEND ON OCT 2 AND WOULD LIKE TO GET OVER TO SAN PEDRO FOR A FEW BEERS/HOURS....ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WATER TAXI/FERRY....ANY OTHER IDEAS.....THANKS.....LARRY

If you want to get the most out of your time in SP I would suggest taking a flight from Belize city or where ever is closest to where you are staying. I know it cheaper to fly out of the municipal airport than the international I believe it is about $75 RT compared to about $125.00, but don't quote me on that one!!! not to mention the extra time you will have to spend on the Island. By plane it takes 18 min, by ferry it is approx. an hour and 15 min each way. That to me is worth the extra money. Any way you chose enjoy La Isla Bonita

You may want to check the arrival and departure time for the boat since both air and water taxi service, to and from San Pedro are pretty much limited to daylight hours.

Take a taxi from the tourist village over to municipal airport (2 minute drive)and fly to San Pedro (15 minute flight). The water taxi can take up to 1.5 hours each way and will take up all your beer drinking time.
