Hey LM! We stayed at Cahal Pech for a couple nights and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant on site.....Banana Daiquiri's are excellent (not as good as the ones at Crazy Canucks, but a close second!). Have fun!

Hey Dita, good to know they have a good on site restaurant for those lazy times and convenience. Still wondering if anybody has other places to recommend. Thanks!

We stayed at Cahal Pech as well and thought the food was quite reasonable. Breakfast overlooking the town is a nice way to start the day. We also highly recommend Hanna's. The food, and service were both excellent. The place was packed everytime we went by so you may have to kill a little time waiting for a table. Read more here from our trip report. . There are pictures as well. Have fun.

Hannah's is very good. Hode's is also very popular, especially with local folks, everybody from Mennonite families to kids who like the ice cream (sold in a separate booth). The restaurant at Clarissa Falls is inexpensive and good, especially for lunch. I like Sanny's (dinner only) -- a little hard to find, though.

Dinner at Chaa Creek is expensive, but the setting makes it a nice splurge. The restaurant at Ka'ana is pretty good, but VERY expensive and probably not worth it unless you have money to throw away.

Serendib's (Sri Lankan, on Burn's Avenue), Elvira's for breakfast, Erva's for lunch,
Rolson's for dinner, Pop's for breakfast, Meli's across from the market and if you have a vehicle try Benny's in Succotz.
Bon apetit!
