Hi all,

I am writing a novel and would like some help with identifying that gorgeous red flower that seems to grow all over the islands there.

Any info would be appreciated. [Linked Image]

Frank.....I have a photo album of San Pedro that includes several pictures of plants and flowers.

Go to this address: http://www.zing.com/album/?id=4294248071&p=4287395523&idx=34

This wind blew the flower right as I took it...but you can still the flower pretty well.

This is a red hibiscus.

Marty,
That's my favorite flower. I just planted three of them in my yard. Hot pink. Just lovely and they bloom all the time.....

They are great. I have some in my yard too and they are low maintenance.

Encourage your friends and neigbors to pick the blooms. They only last a day but the more you pick, the more you'll get.

You can feed them to your pet iguana. He will love you. For iguanas, they are like catnip to a cat.

Parrothead.
