Belmopan, 21 October 2008.-- The Embassy of Mexico to Belize informs that on Sunday 26 October, Mexico ends Daylight Saving Time or Summer Time (Horario de Verano) which started on 6 April, in order to begin Winter Time. That means that Mexico’s local time will be the same as Belize’s local time.
For those traveling within Mexico, the Embassy suggests you adjust your clock one hour backward before going to sleep in the evening on Saturday 25 October, so that you can keep up with the new local time while you are in Mexico.
Persons in transit through Mexico are required to check the actual departure time for flights.
