The world oil price is making for cheaper gas all over the world - everywhere, it seems, except Belize, where crippling pump prices persist. But there is relief - if not immediately in sight, then at least on the horizon.
Two weeks ago we told you that the new shipment of fuel, which is expected to reflect lower acquisition costs, would be in port tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4th. The news tonight is though that you'll have to wait a little longer. The ship was delayed in Honduras and now its estimated date of arrival has been pushed back to Wednesday, November 5th.

With that the new hopefully lower prices could go into effect as early as Wednesday or Thursday the latest. We say "hopefully lower prices" because no one at the Ministry of Finance could tell us when the ship is coming or what the new pump price will be.
