My wife and I are coming on our first trip to AC on Wednesday (11/8). It's a special trip for us, so we expect to be lazy and try to absorb enough sun to return back north and not be cold all winter grin.

But, neither of us are the type to sit on our butts while others are working hard - as we know you are after Keith. So, we wanted to offer to help out in any way we can: transport necessities or luxuries from the states, spend a day lending a helping hand rebuilding public facilities, etc.

We also want to make a day trip to Altun Ha, and while we'll find the right tour people to make that happen, we'd also consider trading a day of labor for a day of informal tourguiding.

Skills: Sharon's are more limited/general except if you need PR, but she's a hard worker. Mine include web development, photography, electrical (1 year as a journeyman electrician), plumbing and general carpentry, and various other skills picked up by growing up on a farm and by doing everything I can myself.

We just got back and had a wonderful time. Although tourism is getting back to normal, the word we got was that clothing for kids is till needed, especially for kids.
