so on caye caulker is it okay to drink a drink with ice in it? i know you need to use bottled water to drink...any advice helps ease my mind!

Yes its ok to have ice in your drink.

The water on Caye Caulker is ok to drink...but, to advoid problems with different types of water most tourists drink bottled water. Never have any problems with ice! Enjoy your trip to paradise.

Yeah mon...no problem with the ice! A rum punch would never be the same without it. That is probably the only drink I have had with ice, but have had PLENTY of them.

The ice is usually made from filtered rain water and delivered daily to businesses by 2 companies. The rain water is pretty pure, considering that we hardly have any vehicles with engines here. I would not drink the tap water though, I stick to bottled water. You should be o.k. with ice though.
