Check out the system forming southeast of Honduras.
I saw the rollers coming in and wondered what was going on.
Sorry, can't figure out how to post the details from Weather Underground here.

The national hurricane center gives this invest a less than 20% chance of developing. It isn't off the coast of Honduras, it is off the coast of Costa Rica, moving east.

Doubtful at this time that the rollers are coming from the energy of that invest. More like a cold front being forced out by the trade winds. With the invest being pushed east I suppose something could happen, but typically when they are in this area they then to cross to the pacific or get sucked up flung across Haiti etc.

As they say, you never know until it is over, but I am not worried about this one.... yet.

I'm not worried either, just thought it was of interest and should be watched.
I did see it was southeast of our area and you're right it's way down there off Costa Rica and no where near Honduras, and so little threat to us.
I was trying to post the computer models showing just what you mentioned about it going across to the Pacific or to the east, but I'm still a klutz with computers.
Unusual this time of year.
The sattelite photos show some bands reaching way up to here.
The rollers made me check the weather.

As of this morning, NHC gives it a 20-50% chance of deveoping (up from 20% or less ........ yesterday when Amanda and Natalie were posting).
I'd say some good people are going get a lot more rain than they can cope with ---

And we still have some nice rollers coming in. The sea is all churned up by the shoreline.
