Butane prices down just in time for the holidays
And while the price of eggs may go up, there is some reason to smile as every household around the country will be enjoy savings just in time for the Christmas Holidays. That’s right, the price of butane has dropped considerably by slightly over 20%. The Ministry of Economic Development in conjunction with the Cabinet Standing Subcommittee Ministers announced the price decreases of a hundred pound cylinder of liquid petroleum gas today.
The new prices are as follows: Belize City drops from $124 to $96, Belmopan and San Ignacio drop from $126 to $98, Benque from $127 to $99, Orange Walk from $125 to $97, Corozal from $124 to $96, Dangriga from $128 to $100 and Punta Gorda from $129 to $101. So beginning tomorrow, the price for butane will be far cheaper.
