We've been paying Social Security on our employees for six years now. Today, we get a visit from Ms. Dawson who wants to see the copies of our social security forms that the employees have signed.

We have never had them sign anything before, not for six years....am I missing something? Is this some new rule just invented and not shared with businesses as happens many times?

your employess have to sign a paper or book for their wages -this is so that the labour dept and social security can check that you have being paying the correct amounts-all businesses do this -also you have only been here 4 years-look for a fine and look at which wemployee complained to ss.

Actually, at this time of year it is normal to get an audit. Don't forget that you also need an accident book which even if it has nothing in it should be ready for a possible accident.

Some of you out there should also be ready for the Tax man 's visit which generally comes around the end of the year and holiday season.

Keep it legit and you will have nothing but fun with it.

Cheers

The SSB came by yesterday....no problems....the reason we got the visit is because we paid .01 cent too much in September, October and November. Exemplary record. Go figure.
