Hello! I've been reading this board for sometime now and it has reaaly got me fired up for my trip to AC in December! I will be proposing to my girlfriend that week and I am trying to find out what kind of wacky ideas ya'll might have to surprise her!!Are there horses for rent to pick her up on...or can I train a shark to spit a ring out at her (just kidding), etc...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Find a seashell , make sure you get all the sand and debris from it first (wouldn't want to scratch the ring!! :-) ), place the ring in your hand under the seahell, bring it to show her and when she picks it up from your hand to look, she'll see the ring underneath!!!! The rest after that is up to you!! [Linked Image] Thought that might be a cute idea--hope it all goes great and you have a happy, healthy and wonderful life together!! Congratulations and best wishes to you both!! Enjoy your stay, we'll be there the first week of December (maybe we'll run in to you!!) Would love to know how it goes!!!
Sincerely,
Eva and Wayne

Find a empty bottle with a lid, put the ring in it with your "Will you marry me " note.
Put the bottle in your back pack when you take a walk down the beach, distract her for a second, put the bottle in front of her in the sand and then "find" the bottle and let her open it.
Have fun!!!!!!!

How about a moonlight cruise on a boat? Go watch the sun set, and bring along a bottle of champagne and some glasses. Drop the ring in the bottle and make sure hers is the last glass poured........ Ring comes out in the glass, and voila, a proposal......

If you want a real "island" flavor, recruit some of the island kids to hold signs up with letters on the beach spelling "Will you Marry Me?" Would be a GREAT picture for the wedding album.

Have the hotel arrange a pic-nic lunch on a private tiny caye or a secluded beach. Have Your own little "island" for lunch, and put the ring in a sea shell.

all of the above sound great! not quite as romantic, but my husband froze my ring in an ice cube. when it melts, it would be in the bottom of her drink. i hear the sunset sailboat cruise is nice. find out if capricorn restaraunt will be open then, you can sail right to it and i hear it is very romantic. they have a website.

We old fashion gals, that love romance, still like receiving that red velvet box to open and see our lovely engagement ring for the first time. Hey any way you present that ring will be heaven in paradise.
