We at Nelson County High School in Virginia have had a soccer exchange planned for over a year now with San Pedro High School.
After the hurricane, some of the players on the San Pedro team have had their dream runined of coming here to the U.S. and playing. Here is the partial note recieved from the coach at SPHS

Here is a list of some of the players that are finding it difficult to make
the trip:

- William Benitez
- Celestino Tzul ( Lost his house)
_ Porfirio Ack
- Geovannie Ramos
- Germain Chable
- Giovannie Gongora
- Antonio Rivero

Most of them will make it if they can get some kind of assistance. Others
are experiencing some difficulties but they will work it out."

If anyone out there can help or would like to pass this on to others, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated.

The coach, Emil Vasquez, lives right behind the high school and his email address is

Also, Marty, at this site knows all about the trip and the fundraising we are doing to get both of these groups together.
I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you contacted him either and ask for information on how to get help to the right people or got a fundraising flyer from him.

The round trip plane flight fare would be enough to get these boys back on track. We will be taking care of them in our homes while they are here.
