Does anyone have a simple and easy cabbage roll recipe?

I am looking to try making some in our crock pot.

CROCK-POT STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb sausage meat
1 cup rice, uncooked
1/2 cup bread crumbs (optional)
2 cloves garlic, (put through garlic crusher)
1/3 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 large onion, ground with onion juice
large cabbage leaves
flour for dredging
vegetable or olive oil
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce or soup

Grind day-old bread in a blender, and add seasonings (or use pre-seasoned breadcrumbs).

Grind the onion in a blender, or if you're grinding your own hamburger and pork, add the raw onion to the meat which is to be ground.

Combine all ingredients other than the cabbage.

Remove the core of the cabbage. Find a large, heavy, carving fork (2 prongs) and put it through the center of the cabbage.

Fill a very large stockpot with salted water and bring to a boil. Place the cabbage into the boiling water, leaving the fork extending. Simmer for a few minutes and remove as the outer leaves begin to turn a bright green.

The object is to cook the cabbage for as little time

Here is simple,

Throw some cheap hamburger in a bowl, add some spices, black pepper, salt, chop an onion throw it in, add some minute rice.

Take a large head of cabbage, remove the core, bring to boil, remove from water and allow to cool. Unfold the cabbage leaves, place your mixed hamburger/rice in cabbage leave and fold.
Line your crockpot with leaves before you start stacking the rolls. Pierce rolls with fork, stack in crockpot and you can add either tomatoe soup, tomotoe juice or stewed tomatoes for liquid.

Made a batch last week for a Polish Christmas Eve dinner but because their were several Polish people in their late 70's I used a combination of hamburger, veal and pork sausage.

This one's really easy, you don't have to fiddle rolling the the cabbage.

2lb gound beef
1 head cabbage,shredded
1 small chopped onion
1 16oz can tomatoes
broth or tomato juice, enough to cover bottom of crockpot
garlic salt
thyme
red pepper
oregano.

Brown beef, drain. Put tomato juice or broth in crockpot.
Layer cabbage, onion, spices, meat, and garlic salt. Repeat layers ending with beef. Top with undrained tomatoes and a dusting of oregano.
Cook on high for one hour.
Stir all together.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

I cooked a little rice on the side when it was time to eat and added it at the end.
