We just stayed there over the Thanksgiving week. Kelly (from the Palms, two doors down, took care of while we were there). Try to contact her at the Palms. If you get lucky enough to get a spot at the Belizean Reef, everybody else you meet will be by there to see you. It is the best and most cost efficient place on the island. We stayed in unit #1 (first floor on the beach) and will be requesting the same one when I go back in February. Full kitchen, lots of hot water and sparkling white everything. The housekeeper lost her home in the hurricane and at the time was staying in unit #2. She is so cool and has three kids who are still playing with the frisbees and playground balls I gave them, but I'm sure they would enjoy a couple more toys when you go down there. Good luck contacting Kelly, she is busy trying to get the roof repaired at the Palms, but you will love the Reef if you stay there.
