I have a nikon d80 and I dont go anywhere without it. Went to a water park (indoors its only 15 here)and the camera was on a table someone slipped and needless to say camera went tumbling off and the auto settings broke. Can still use manual settings. We are going to AC on 2/12 and was wondering if anyone on the island does camera repair on sight. Hard to find these days even here in MA.

No, that'll have to go back to Nikon. Don't trust anyone else even if they say they can repair it - they'll wreck it. Almost certainly something's broken inside, and again almost certainly the camera will need to be realigned inside. Sorry, but you'll have to use something else for your trip down here.

A good idea also to send the lens that was on at the time. There's a good chance the jarring will have knocked the lens elements out of position, even if it seems OK.

Always try all possible combinations before rushing to spend money! What is the lens that may have been damaged (make and model), and what is the one that now works? Do you have any others? Best try everything. If you have an external flash, make sure sure that still works.

Can you see any damage or distortion on the lens mount that was in use, on either the camera or lens?

I can seem the damage inside the lense. It must be the piece that opens and closes the lens. It is a nikon 18-135mm. All others are working as well as external flash. thank you for all your advise I was heart broken thinking it was the camera.

I'd send it back to Nikon and see what they can do with it. If you have to replace it (probably not) there may be other lenses you should consider instead. A new replacement will cost $250-$300.
