I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some information regarding the nightlife in San Pedro, ie...where to go, cover charges, cost of drinks, music played, safety and the best times to go.

Specifically with respect to Tarzans, The Shark Bar and Big Daddys

Thank you.

Hi,

Here's a pretty fair list of some of the weekly happenings in San Pedro. I'm not sure what, if any changes have been made.

Monday: Barefoot Skinny plays music and hosts Joke Night at Fido's Courtyard (Rock n Roll, dance music, reggae, silly bar songs, etc.).

Tuesday: Barefoot plays at Ramon's Village. Dennis Wolfe plays guitar/keyboards at The Palace Casino (R&R, oldies, country).
The Mariachis play at Victoria House.

Wed: Dennis Wolfe at Fido's. Wil Nunez and Dale Wallace play at the Holdiay Hotl Beach BBQ. The "World Famous Chicken Drop" happens at the Pier Lounge (starts at around 6pm).

Thurs: Dennis Wolfe at Journey's End (North side of the Island). Cajun Night at BC's Bar (Art Picou, Genuine Coonass cooks up some mean Creole and Cajun fare - reasonable prices, too!). Ladie's Night at the Barefoot Iguana. Karaoke Night at Tarzan's.

Friday: Barefoot at Fido's, Dennis Wolfe at The Casino, Wil & Dale at Victoria House. Live Reggae at the Sharks Bar. All the discos (Tarzan's, Big Daddy's, Barefoot Iguana) are open real late.

Sat: Pizza Day at the Essene way, Mexican night at Elvi's with Wil & Dale. BBQ night at the Hideaway Hotel. Dennis plays at Fido's.

Sunday: Beach BBQ at BC's Bar (A MUST!!). Sunday evening Jam and Dinner at the Palapa Bar (See? Got your Sunday all lined out!).

I'm sure there's more that haven't listed. Since the storm, I have no idea what's changed in scheduling.

Have a great time!

PS: Cover charges are usually 5 - 10 bucks Belize. Local beer and rum are reasonable, imported booze will cost an arm and a leg.

Don't miss the Lions Club BBQ on Friday and Saturday nights. Great food, good price, good cause, and meet some of the locals.
