we got airfare from USAir thru Charlotte (a great airport!) for $495/pp - INCLUSIVE. i think it might only be good thru march or april, and only on certain days.

i believe you have to pay for your baggage, but departure fees are included. this is a GREAT price, as AA has PHL-BZE for $808 thru MIA for May.

Baggage fees are only on domestic flites I believe, at least it's that way on Delta.

here is USAir's policy:

US Airways charges a $15 fee for your first checked bags. If you purchased a ticket before July 9, 2008, the first bag fee won’t apply. We also now charge $25 for all second checked bags. The checked bag policies apply to all flights to and from Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as flights within the U.S.

The following passengers are exempt** from the first and second checked bag fee, but not any applicable weight fees:

* All Dividend Miles Preferred members (Silver, Gold, Platinum and Chairman’s Preferred)
* Passengers traveling to and from Europe, or to and from Asia
* Star Alliance Silver and Gold status members
* Unaccompanied minors (with US Airways unaccompanied minor paid assistance)
* Confirmed First Class and Envoy passengers at time of check-in
* Active U.S. military personnel with ID (first through third bag up to 100 lbs/45 kg each free of charge)

ps - i'll happily pay that $40 in exchange for $300 off each ticket, and for not having to go thru MIA.
