Any suggestions on what to do on Ambergris Caye on New Year's Eve?

I asked the same q & was told that Ramon's is a lot of fun with no cover--bring a cooler as the bar will be mobbed. Also Estelle's on the Beach. The Barefoot Iguana will have a cover as will Holiday.

Do you mean, I can bring a cooler with my own Belikin's into the bar with me? Thanks.

Yeah, just be discreet and hide it in the bushes or the like. I always bring one of those collapsable coolers on the plane.

Easy midnite lurker. I just asked a question. I thought it might be ok and that you did not have to hide it. I was in Ambergris Caye once before and there were not a lot of rules, so I thought I would check. Paying is not a problem. Big Frank I will look for you and do a cooler check. HeeHee.

Thanks, Terri, for saying that. I am not proposing "theft of services", although the primae facie evidence suggests it. In Colorado we call that type of planning ahead being a "festivarian", after the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. An existential question: If you can't reach the bar to get a beer, yet you've brought your own is that stealing? It is a small island and I want to preserve my reputation as...easy but not cheap.
