We are scheduled to visit Placencia for three nights and Ramon's Village in San Pedro for 7 nights, and would like to know if the Placencia visit is really worth the extra money. Any comments would be very appreciated!

Placencia is MUCH more laid back than SP!
If you enjoy peace and quiet it will be a good place to rest up before the much more active SP!We stayed at Serenade Guest House and enjoyed the communal style meals with locals.

Thanks to you both for answering! I think I might skip Placencia to keep the cost down, although it does sound really relaxing. We'd like to do a lot of snorkeling, and I get the impression that there are more places to see from SP.

More comments are always appreciated!

Thanks,

Susan
