They don't want South Beach built. There are some Belizeans that would love to see the island be overdeveloped. It puts $$$$ in their pockets.
161 new condo units is laughable. Even when the economy turns around.

Many Belizeans want the same things USians want...jobs for their kids,...a better life for their grandkids...a real car..on real roads...decent utilitys...better shopping...a good life.
