During our stay in Belize, as well as spending a lot of time in AC, we are planning on going to Caye Caulker, Corozol, Placencia, and Belize City. For all four of those, we need nice hotels/motels/really just any places to stay. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Fron,
Why are you trying to go so many places on one trip? Slow down and enjoy. You can always see more places later.. You will enjoy your trip so much more if you pick one or two places this year and more the next.

We like to travel around...see a lot in one trip. We've also already spent 10 days before on AC.

I would start by searching this board for suggestions, then I would go to amazon.com and order Lan Sluder's new book "Guide to Mainland Belize". It covers just about every part of the mainland, in 288 pages with 75 photos and maps.
He really knows his stuff and has always been very helpful on the message board. Since you will be wandering around quite a bit, I'm sure this will answer many of your questions.
Have a great trip!

I'm planning a trip to AC as a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend. The only time we are both able to travel is in the summer and I was wondering if it's a bad idea to travel to AC in hurricane season. Also, I'm considering staying at the Paradise Villas Belize. Has anyone ever heard of it? If so, how are the accommodations? I'm not looking for luxury, just privacy and cleanliness. Thanks to anyone who responds.
