My girlfriend and I want to come to AC Feb 10-17 from Minneapolis MN but can't find airfare for under $1,000 each!! Even the discounters can't find a return in February--what's up??? any ideas???!!!

The only things under $1,000 are charters and I was told they are all booked. The first real winter in 5 years has increased vacations from minnesota by 305 I heard on a news cast; supply and Demand takes it's toll.
We've cancelled our plans to go to Belize due to the cost. I'm really down about it.

How about flying into Cancun and taking the Bus to Belize. You might get cheaper airfare to Cancun! In the future I would book airfare at least 2-3 month in advance for cheaper airfare especially in high season. Always works for us.

If you can fly out of NY, I have a group going out to Belize Feb 24 and returning Mar 3. Fare is $625, and I may have 2 tix left.
I dunno if its worth your while, but you might wanna give it a try.
You also should give Judy a call at 888-875-1822. She's really good at hookin' you up with a cheap package. If there is one... she'll find it!!!

We are flying out this Sat from Mpls. We tried booking our own airfare and couldn't find anythin under about $1200 back about 5 months ago (air only). Last year we booked with Tradewinds for a package (air and Paradise Villas) for less than a thousand, 7 days, so we went back to them this year. For not much more than that (1200), we got air and 8 days this year. Apparently they get discount air by buying a block. You might check them out,
