really enjoyed the food. I had a shrimp dish based in coconut milk with rice, beans, plantains. My husband had a chicken which had some type of curry. Is this typical for Belizean eats? If so, we can't wait to sample the local fare!

el fogon? george's kitchen makes gooooood stew chicken & rice n beans. the caye lime pie is pretty good too. waruguma makes the best ceviche and a good shrimp in coconut sauce.
for fancy (well, belize fancy) try el patio.
