In the past we have used Carlos as our cave tubing guide but have been unable to reach him.

1)Is Carlos still on the island and if so how can he be reached?

2)If Carlos is not around who else would be recommended for a cave tube excursion?

We want small group service only. No cattle drives please.

Thanks

Tommy, I was just in Belize in may and I always contact jaguar Paw directly. Ask to speak with Edwin. He arranged a private tour for the 2 of us with pick up and drop off in belize city and lunch was included. It was my 5th time going to Jaguar paw and I have never had a problem with any of the guides they have all been fantastic.

Is something wrong with the phone lines on the mainland?

I'm unable to reach Jaguar Paw.

Suggest one day and one or two nights at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch with a day doing "River of Caves" tour.

The caves at Jaguar Paw themselves tend to be a cattle call.

The caves near Anderson's are really special and not over-traveled.
It's just incredible there.

I second the advice about Katie Valk -- she's terrific. I also went through Tanisha Tours, and would always recommend Daniel in any circumstance any time.

One thing I liked about Jaguar Paw cave tubing is the fact that their guides will call off a trip if the river is too high, rapid or otherwise deemed dangerous. They are not the type to push a trip for the money. I can not speak for other guides, but this is something I have personally witnessed from Jaguar Paw.

It's great to be .....
