In between the old tropic building and the golf cart rental place just south of there.

Gotcha, maybe. Across from the Palms or between Monchos and the old Tropic terminal? Either way, good plan and much needed. Tropic is doing things right.

From the old Tropic building (to be removed) and going south until Monchos.

But the extreme bottleneck just south of Monchos will remain.

The road is only 21 ft wide there. Anybody that is in so much of a rush that they can't slow down for a few minutes is probably driving on the wrong island!

They could improve that bottleneck somewhat by moving the utilities pole that obstructs the E side of the road. As it's on a corner large vehicles have to take the entire road to manoeuvre, stopping traffic in both directions. It's hard to see what else can be done without demolishing a building, though perhaps they could take some of the vacant plot of land to the W and straighten the road at the critical point.

The main high tension power lines running from the mainland do go underground at the particular pole in question, running on to the the sub station next to BTL offices.
