Dr Lerida! been to her 2 or 3 times...

She's actually very good at diagnostics. I had what turned out to be some sort of underwater sting a year or two ago and three doctors failed to recognise it for what it was so didn't treat it effectively, till I went to her and she dealt with it properly.

She is a gastroenterologist and I highly recommend her.
In additon, there are other very good doctors in San Pedro, each particularly good at different areas and all very good in general medicine.
Couldn't say which is absolute best---but for tummy problems you can't beat Dr Lerida.

Both my husband and I got sick the second week in Belize last year. It was a respiratory thing that one of our friends brought down. She took very good care of us. Very knowledgeable and thorough.
