When I was a child )of starving students) we lived on powdered milk. That is the reason I have not tried the box milk yet, even after 15 yrs all around the Carribean smile

TC good call on the "age"... Our second bottle went south in 2 days...

TG Did you try the Powdered Milk Pudding yet?

San Pedro Public Supermarket, next to Amal's Hardware. It's been that price for ages.

I will go taste a spoonful now Gridguy

Was not that bad actually my main complaint is that is is vanilla pudding ha ha. I will have to try it with chocolate next time to give a better opinion on making it with powdered milk.

Back in Canada tacoboy and one of our roommates used to compare stories about having to drink powdered milk vs beef cow milk as kids and which was worse.

I can understand your reluctance to try box milk as a result of your powdered milk experience. My brother and I used to go through a ton of bag milk as kids but the transition to box milk was very easy I am sure partly because it was for cereal and coffee over a glass of milk on it's own.

We buy our milk at public often always cheap there.

Rainbow and Carnation milk in a can. Klim is the powdered stuff and the long life stuff is not too bad. All depends on your circumstances.

I prefer fresh milk, but when we have storms and supply lines are cut and there is no power for refrigeration - you will be amazed what become palatable.
