Just saw this article in todays San Pedro Daily. Is this for road improvements from town to the bridge or from the bridge north?

Northern Road Update
The public is hereby informed that the San Pedro Town Council has begun work for the declaration of the Northern Road. Surveyors have commenced their work assessment and thus the cooperation of the residents of that area is asked and is appreciated

I sometimes wonder if my age has given rise to Cynicism in me,
but when I hear the mayor say,'If those rich Gringos want a road they can pay for it' I feel it isn't old man getting Cynical.
And of course there is the directionally impaired 'North' affliction in San Pedro. This tells me Tres Cocos on the South end of Ambergris Caye might get something for their tax dollars.
I'm not investing in any road vehicle any time soon.

Surveyors are out there "in the field" today surveying the road.

Where? South or north of bridge?

I would like to confirm that there are surveyors outside of my house. They are currently napping. Further updates as they occur.

Let me ask this. Does anyone know if the cart path is on government land or is most or all of it passing on privately owned land and allowed by the owners.

its close to what is going to be the road , but a few shortcuts/deviations from the path developed and they are correcting here and there.
