We are happy to attach the new edition of The Toledo Howler. Marta and I write and produce this on behalf of the Toledo chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA) and we aim to introduce you to the people, places, music and culture of this diverse and still relatively undiscovered corner of Belize. This edition is the ninth in all and takes us into our third year of publication.
In this edition we have the first of a series of articles by H Lee Jones, author of the Birds of Belize and based in Punta Gorda for much of the year. Lee kicks of a with a feature on the fall migration along the coast of Toledo. Ana Arzu "Mountain Spirit" continues her column on the herbs and plants of the Garifuna healing traditions.
Enjoy reading.
With best wishes from the beautiful south
Rob & Marta
