Just got my AA Netsaver email and there's a big sale to Belize - even a huge photos of Belize upon opening the email - usually, no pictures so they are in need of $$.

Sample fares include $438 RT from Tampa; $520 from San Francisco or Memphis; $428 from Dallas- these are just a few - I put in the dates of 9/8 and 9/15 for departure and return dates. Normal restrictions: purchase by 8/28, for travel between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31. 61 day maximum stay - fares good Mon. - Thursday.

I think I may have to buy a ticket!

I don't find these deals that great - the ones in May were outstanding. Don't expect that I will find a $327 airfare from SFO on AA ever again. Glad I grabbed it and enjoyed

Probably not that great as you got, but you are not adding the tax to that fare either.

Reminds me of the unbelizable fare Gela and I got to CR a few years ago.

I just got a really good deal from American too, flying in the 3rd week of Sept. It was 529.00, and that's out of my rinky-dink little town, changing in Dallas. I think from Dallas it's 428.00. the taxes were not as bad as I thought.

laurie - we got our tix to costa rica for $350/pp incl taxes - we leave exactly 4 weeks from today (YIPPEEEEEE!!!).

and you're right, gela - this sale is NOT great - $622 r/t inclusive from PHL ?? that's considered a sale price? (i used same dates to CR and got $358) so, we saved nearly $600 by going to CR over Bz - that equals the $ for 10 day's rental car, and that's nuts.

bz sales were $450 & $360 in the past yr. - average fares now of $700 isn't working for us...we just might not get back to Bz until next spring, if this is considered a sale. perhaps we'll just become Costa Rica regulars instead....

SJ, that is about what Gela and I paid when we went. A steal of a deal. Sacramento to BZE never has sales, so I would have to drive 4 hours RT to Bay Area, do park and fly, etc. Not worth it to me to save a couple hundred dollars.
