We got $583 for rt Cleve Belize. March 28 - April 9 on Continental through our agent. This is the typical price range we have paid for 10 years. Flights are very booked, could be part of your problem.
Did you try Barb's Belize?

Try flycheapol.com They are out of Houston and are know in Houston as Mars Travel. If you can't get help via the net, call them 1-888-702-4242 or 1-713-978-6277. We got a pretty good deal with them. Ask for a quote. Debbie

Hi, Where are you in Pittsburgh? I am in little Washington, about 30 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Use to live in Belize, if I can help email me at [email protected]

I got a really good fare for my trip next month -- under $500. Last summer I paid close to $800 going the auction way -- terrible. This time I found my fare through Yahoo (Travelocity) -- and I notice that the rates go upwards as one gets closer to an anticipated departure date. Had I booked a week prior to when I made my reservation, my fare would have been $20 less. Also NOTE that these low fares are extremely restrictive -- can't move dates, can't sell, can't give away unless it is to someone with the same name as yours (unlikely, of course) and definitely no refunds. Had I used my noodles, I should have booked directly with the airlines -- sometimes they have much better deals and are more compassionate to unforeseen changes in schedules.
And beware of auctions. It was a nasty burnt experience for me in more ways than one.

Got my booking yesterday for 3-12/19 through travelocity.$ 488 with taxes etc. Priceline a waste of time, too restrictive you've got to commit without a good idea of dates # of connections etc. Found the easiest is to book on non peak days, ie mon , tues, weds, Weekend travel 3-400 more.

Try 1800air-fare, they were awesome for me. They specialize in flights for Contenental (sp?), I was able to get tickets for 450 through them when travelocity for the same flight was listing 840,but I am flying from Cali. Good Luck!! I am still trying to book my flight from Belize city to San Pedro!
