Several posts have referred to it "gets dark early" in Belize at Christmastime.......what does "early" mean ?????

Sunset at that time of year is about 5:20 pm and there's not much dusk; it gets dark quickly after sunset.

Not much dusk is important to note --- from sunset to full dark is about 5-7 minutes - carrying a small flashlight in your purse or pack is a good idea.
