I'm hoping this "solo experience" will be just what I need to relax. I really like the idea of planning my own activities without having to coordinate with friends. Besides, very few people could spend the 8 or so hours I like to spend in the sun! I don't doubt that there will be other solo travelers and people I can hang with. You sound very convincing that this is a great way to go! I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm about 45 minutes west of LBI on the fringes of the Pines - up off Rt. 70. Not a bad place to live, but as you know, winters in NJ last far too long.
