I am trying to find out if I can still buy Belikin directly from the distributor and if so what is the price per case. Also any help with finding the best place to buy meat for BBQ and sandwiches would be greatly appreciated. I have heard of the Sausage factory and Lino'sm but can't find a website or price list anywhere.

thanks

Yes you can buy beer directly from the distributor. don't know the exact price but it will be cheaper than anywhere else.

Sausage Factory is your best bet for meat. They make their own bacon, sandwhich meats, sausages, etc.

I would guess that less than half the businesses on the island have websites.

Without wanting to disagree with JZB - Sausage Factory is very good, we do much of our meat shopping at Lino's. We like their bacon and we also like our chicken with 'parts included', which you do get from Lino's.

I have to agree with Colly, Lino's is very good for BBQ style meats. The spare ribs, ground beef, and pork chops can all be done to order while you wait and he has two locations. The bacon is $8.50 per pack if you buy a dozen packs which is good for businessess.
Sausage factory is great for luncheon meats and turkey, and does good rack ribs.

$47.50 BZ for a case of Belikin regular.

I'm happier than a pig in s__t...a foot on the sand...and a Belikin in my hand!

Colette...do you use the chicken feets? I wanted to use them in soup but Chunk would have no part of it.

I tend to agree with Chunk on this one. Yuck. However you can get chicken feet at Lino's downtown. I don't know if they have them in the shop south.

Sorry to hijack this Collette.

Al, don't forget the deposit which brings it to $59.75BZ ($29.88US).

No I must admit to not cooking with the chicken feet. I just get a peculiar pleasure out of listening to my dogs crunching them up. They also enjoy the other pieces of offal that come along with it.
