I know this has been asked before and I searched old posts, but couldn't find the answer. When does conch season open? Do lobster and conch seasons overlap so that we can get both? We were there last September and couldn't get conch. I think I read that it starts sometime in (?) October? We were planning to come back in late September, but if we can get Conch in October, we can wait until then. Just wondered if we can get lobster at the same time. Thanks, as always, you guys are the best!

Conch season started when lobster season ended...Feb 14th. Conch is available on AC lobster. My understanding is that lobster season runs from June 14th to Feb 14th and conch season is from Feb 14th to June 14th.

Oh,well,I guess no conch for us in the fall, we will HAVE to eat lobster! How terrible for us! Lucky you, Debbie, you get both! Jane, we are looking at Paradise Villas, Sunbreeze,Banana Beach, and a place called Beachfront Condos at Paradise Villas(?). Have e-mailed them but no response yet. Anyone know if and how they are connected with Paradise Villas? Any other suggestions for a place close to town with a pool (hopefully oceanfront pool)-we don't have to have the condo situation this time, but it would be nice to have a fridge, stove and/or microwave. We stayed at the Seven Seas last time, but would like to stay on the south end of town this time, but don't have to stay "in town" per se, as we will rent a golf cart if need be. Thanks!

yes, i heard banana beach is nice, and sunbreeze looked nice from the outside. it is kinda close to the action tho. no privacy on the beach. i looked at coral bay villas website the other day, look like VERY nice condos. no prices listed on it. paradise villas isnt south, is it? i thought it was north of fido's. is that where i played volleyball on the beach? anyone? i am still working on my husband for our next trip....

Yes, Paradise Villas is where you played volleyball. (But they didn't own that yucky bathroom you complained about) Paradise Villas is VERY nice. Good rates too.
