Hey gial,

I've been thinking . . .there's no way that you will go to Venezuela once you think more about Chavez. And so I think we should go to Buenos Aires and Igauzu Falls instead.

Meanwhile, I had a fabulous time in Greece, an amazing, amazing time in Jordan and now I've arrived this afternoon in Frankfurt. It is lovely here too, so I think I will go and get a glass of wine . . .which was a bit in short supply in Jordan. LOL.

Until later,

The only way I would go to Venezuela would be in a loaded FA-18

Our daughter lived in Buenos Aires. A facinating city. One of our favorite trips was to the Patagonia region and the glacier. There is a wonderful hotel on the glacier at Calfate.

LOL, when I saw the title of this post, I thought I was in trouble....or something. Glad you are having a fabulous time, can't wait to hear about it.

Argentina...wooohoooooo! First, I must practice singing "the hills are alive with the sound of music!"

Enjoy the wine and safe travels home.

Gela, there are still adventures to be shared by you and LM!! After all, life is just one big adventure . . one just never knows what is in store.

And as long as one can remember that the glass is half full instead of half empty, then one can remember that the glass needs to be refilled . . ahahhhhaaaa

Venezuela has some beautiful beaches and wonderful people.
If you've a mind to travel there, visit Isla Margarita.
The airport in Caracas is new and very nice - the customs and immigration people are gracious and efficient.
I'm no fan of Chavez, but a visit to Venezuela is not like checking into hell. On the other hand, Belize is about 1,000 percent better, safer, cleaner, etc -----

SS, Switzerland before Argentina for me, that is why I am practicing the song. lol - my friend says I have to stand on a mountain and sing it while there - just like Julie Andrews did. Phfffft

Ahem, Gela, aren't you on your 4th or 5th big adventure within one year?

I have heard great things about Margarita Island and Venezuela and that was were I was going to go, but changed my mind for now.
