Hello everyone,

I've been lurking for a week or so now in order to learn more about Belize and Ambergris Caye before booking a vacation. I just wanted to say thank you very much for all of the great information that has been posted on this board - reviews of lodging, restaurants, places to go, things to do, etc. The place sounds lovely, and it isn't often that you find a community like this message board where people are friendly, helpful, and don't go about flaming people. I haven't even been there yet, and I feel like I want to buy a place down there so I can go every year!

My husband, father, and I are planning a trip in May. We've got a villa booked at Banyan Bay on AC for a week and are working to book a 4 day stay at Caves Branch prior to that. I'm sure I'll have a zillion questions in the next few months so I thought it would be nice to introduce myself now

Good to have you on "board" (ha,ha)! We have found that AC is our favorite spot to relax and veg.Nothing else like it! You will be hooked,no doubt about it. Feel free to ask any questions,these are the most friendly and informative folks in the world.We had a wonderful week last September and we are going back this fall...can't wait.
