My friend and I are coming to AC in May and I have been looking into staying at the Belizean Reef condotel. Has anyone stayed there that can tell me what it is like? They say that the swimming beach is next door at Ramon's. How is that? I have also heard that you can use the pool at Ramon's. Is this true? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have not stayed at Belizean Reef myself, but I have looked at it, and it's very attractive. We get nothing but good reports on it at Belize First, and the posts I see on it on the Internet are almost all positive.

It is convenient to the beach at Ramon's, which is the nicest beach in or near town (though not the best beach on the island). It used to be that Belizean Reef guests could use the pool at Ramon's, but I don't think that policy is in effect anymore. You could ask the manager at Belizean Reef.

I've been staying at the Reef 2 or 3 times a year since it opened in 1995. In fact I have the 2nd floor rented April 18 thru May 8th. You will be very happy with it. BC's is right next door and you can walk there from the airport. Have no fear, you made a good choice.
