We are doing a jungle adventure tour thru Cave's Branch, then heading to Ambergris Cayes for some R&R.

Do we need to get any vaccinations?
Any suggestions on what we should bring with into the Jungle?

Talk with your Doctor. Hep "A" is recommended and a prescription for chloroquine (anti-malarial).

i went in '93. didnt do any. stayed 10 days, had the most awesome time of my life. take neosporen, benedryl cream & imodium AD with you. and zip locs. bandaids. advil. you will be fine.

we never do any vaccinations, been many, many times....

The chances of coming down with something on a short visit to Cayo are slim, but better to be safe than sorry. There are several thousand cases of malaria reported each year in Belize, most in the far south and in border areas. Chloroquine is inexpensive, proven insurance.

It's always a good idea to have Tet and Hep A and Hep B, regardless of where you're traveling, although I understand that tetanus sticks are in short supply right now.
