Please comment on these two accomodations, as we need personal testimonials to make our final decision. We are grateful for your input and advice. Thanks!

Victoria House is much more of a resort, with a restaurant, bar, etc.; Paradise Villas is a small condo development. The locations are very different -- Paradise Villas is at the north end of town; Victoria House is about 2 miles south of town. All the units at Paradise Villas are condo apartments; the accommodations at Victoria House vary from motel rooms to deluxe owners' villas. Both have pools. The grounds at Victoria House are much more beautiful.

The past two years we have stayed at Paradise Villas, and found the accomodations more than adequate. I might suppose it depends on who owns the particular unit tho. Ours were clean, well kept. The grounds are well kept also, and since we never like to eat in the same place ( at least on successive days) the short walk to town is easy. Then, if you eat or drink a bit too much, the short walk back is great. The grounds are generally a bit quieter at night than some of the resorts.

Stayed at VH last December, absolutely beautiful! I thought it had to be the best hotel on the island - too die for. Food was good as was service. Was a little far from town but they run shuttles all day and we took a bike another day which was awesome. Highly recommend it!
