I am planning a trip to AC on June 3rd. I am looking for something very nice and kind of tropical maybe. Any info on Blancaneaux?
It doesn't have to be on beach, it would be nice. But not important. Also will sharks in shark alley attack!!!!!!!!!

We just returned from AC last week and the trip to Shark Ray Alley was the absolute best. The sharks are like big old spoiled puppies. We stayed at the Tropica and loved it. No phone or TV. Made the vacation great. The food was delicious everywhere we went.

i believe blancaneaux is on the mainland, in the cayo district, not on the island. many first timers like ramones. sunbreeze is more like a motel, but less expensive. lots of choices.

Blancaneaux Lodge is in the Mountain Pine Ridge about 2 1/2 hours by car from Belize City. Wonderful place. Last year, Francis Ford Coppola also bought Turtle Inn in Placencia and has renamed it Blananeaux's Turtle Inn. It's on the beach just north of Placencia village. It reopened only a couple of months ago, and while more changes are planned, we are getting good reports on the resort and the restaurant.
