17 days and counting (we started counting at 176 days!)This is our first trip to AC and we can't wait. We are staying at the Casa Carabe (sp?) and wondered if any of you would like to make comment on the place.
Some friends reccomended it but the more I read and research the more it sounds like its a long way from town. Picture four people drunk in a golf cart, not pretty for a long distance but prehaps we wont be the first. Also want to thank each and every one of you who post here. You have made the waiting almost unbearable with the wonderful stories of past trips and adventures.

Okay, now I'm becoming an addict...I can't stop posting on this site!! I will be in AC the same time as you-- I will keep my eye out for 4 drunk people moving very slowly through town on a golf cart!! Hell, I may even ask you for a ride!! See you in AC!

ha! beach bum: it happened to me, too! i love this board, these people. i came home 7 months ago and i'm still here.....

We have 54 days to go. I cannot stand it! I think the enthusiasm of all the people on the board is addicting.

so, tell me this:

what do you do when you come home?! go through major withdrawal and then become an unofficial guide to other newcomers by posting your contributions and suggestions from your own experience? i love it! you never really have to leave, just live vicariously through those on the board until you can return again....

these next 9 days will be torturous, oh and the plane ride!! my gosh!!

Counting in hours. We leave at 8:45 in the morning (tue 3/13) Staying at the Agape house. I can not wait!!

My wife and I are going to AC on March 31 and we're staying at Agape House. Would you let me know what your opinion of the house is and give me any advise about what to bring, expect, etc.? You probably won't get this until after you get back so I hope you had a good time.

Garfish, We'll beat you there. The family is leaving Friday the 16 - 23rd staying at the Mata Chica. Look us up, we're staying in the blueberry, I'll be the guy with the Belikin? Can't wait, I'll have it all scoped out for you.
